I can't see the sunshine

Hey! I'm Jeremy, a seventeen year old musician. I'm friendly and I get along with everyone. The only time I don't like someone is because they have proved to me that I shouldn't. I'm the youngest of five kids, all sons, we drive my mom crazy.

More bradley and James

James made his way towards Bradley, strides slow, hands at his side. Then he saw Bradley’s eyes narrow, confused, and he smirked. Slowly, Greg and the cameramen faded from his thoughts, leaving him alone with just Bradley.

“You’re soaked,” he said, coming to stand in front of Bradley, closer than friends would.

“Smart observation asshole.” Bradley’s breathing was shallow and his shoulders shook from the cold.

Reaching out, James let his hand settle on Bradley’s hip, thumb sneaking under that sad excuse of a shirt to rub over his hipbone. Bradley’s eyes followed his movements, look suspicious.

“Then let’s get you out of them before you ruin the carpet.”

Bradley snorted and gave his shoulder a shove. “Great to see you’ve got your priorities straight.”

James smirked, allowing his other hand to reach out for Bradley’s hip too. Bradley looked small, almost fragile in his hands. More so because of the wet shirt and the way he continued to shiver. At that point, getting him dry became more of a priority for James than getting him naked.

He slipped flat palms under the shirt, tugging it up while his hands mapped out Bradley’s chest. He pinched Bradley’s pierced nipple when he reached it, smirking at the responding hiss he got from him. Craving that sound, James did it again, this time leaning in to press his face into the crook of Bradley’s neck.

The smell of lemons and something so distinctly Bradley overwhelmed him, made him want to taste. He kissed the spot below Bradley’s ear, drawing his tongue alone his jaw. Quickly, he rid him of his shirt and tossed it to the side.

“The poor carpet,” Bradley teased, arms wrapping around James’s neck, drawing him closer.

James went willingly. “Shut up,” he growled and pressed his lips to Bradley’s in order to stop any smart comments he knew were already forming in his mind. Bradley’s lips were cold, but soft and tasted like James remembered them. It was a taste and feeling he hadn’t been able to get out of his mind since the first time in that stupid market.

Bradley nipped at James’s lower lip, tongue trying to push its way though. James groaned, mouth opening and hands pulling Bradley closer. They were flush against each other, the water from Bradley’s jeans seeping through James’s pants. Irritated by that, James’s hands found the hem of Bradley’s jeans, tugging at the button until it came undone. With a swift shove he pushed jeans and boxers to the ground.

When they finally broke apart, both of them were breathing hard. James took his chance to look Bradley up and down. He was still shivering and his hair still hung limply in his face. “You look like a drowned rat,” James told him.

Scowling, Bradley gave him a shove towards the bed. “I liked you better when you were kissing me.”

“Tough.” And they were kissing again, James’s arms around Bradley’s waist, pulling him up. Bradley got the hint quickly enough as to what James wanted to do and he wrapped his legs around James’s hips. James carried him to the bed, dumping both of them on it. With Bradley on his bed, James ground down against him, jean covered cock pressing against Bradley’s naked one.

“Shit,” Bradley gasped, his nails digging into James’s shoulders. Bradley’s kisses were nothing like the languid ones they’d experienced that. There was no patience now as Bradley devoured his mouth, teeth and tongue energetic with an urgent need to taste one another. One of James’s hands moved up to Bradley’s face, holding his jaw in place and deepening the kiss, taking control of it no matter how much Bradley fought him for it.

Bradley’s hands scrabbled down James’s back, tugging at his shirt, trying to get rid of it. Taking the hint, James sat up, his knees on either side of Bradley’s hips. He quickly got rid of his t-shirt, tossing it to the ground before lowering himself over Bradley again.

The room was simple enough and nothing like James expected it to be. The walls were white and mostly bare. Above the bed hung a painting, or a picture of painting that had been printed and framed. It gave the room a really cheap look, but he doubted anyone was going to be looking at the painting. The bed on the other hand was huge, at least a king with a big wooden headboard covered with what looked to be the warmest comforter James had ever seen. It was a deep rich green that complimented the dark wood of the bed frame. They’d splurged on the bed and maybe that part made sense. Next to the bed there was a small table with a lamp, lube and condoms on it.
At least they came prepared, James though with a slight shake of his head.
There were two camera men, and each occupied an opposite corner. They didn’t look like James expected them to—fat, balding, wearing tight wear soaked shirt. They were in their mid to late twenties with easy smiles and attractive faces. One even looked like he should be in front of the camera instead of behind it.
The director, Greg, James remembered. He was older, but hardly old. He looked to be in his late thirties, hair still dark and full. His hair was artistically disheveled and he greeted James as soon as he entered.
“We’re glad you came back,” he extended his hand to James and James shook it.
“Glad to be back.” James shoved his hands back in his pocket as soon as they were free again.
“We have something new for you today.”
James nodded, glancing over at the bed, fleetingly.
“Let’s have a quick talk before you get started.”
“Is something wrong?” Part of James wanted Greg to call the whole thing off, to tell him to go home, that his video was unwatchable, but he knew that was hardly good news. He needed the money
“No, no.” Greg shook his head and urged him to sit down.
James sat on the bed, folding his hands in his lap. “What’s up then?”
“Don’t be nervous, we’re just talking.” Greg’s smile was friendly and genuine, making James relax a bit. “This is your first time working with a partner, right?” James nodded and Greg continued. “Is this your first time having sex with a man.”
James felt his face redden and irrational anger bubbling inside him. He wanted to tell Greg to mind his own business, but that was his business. “Yeah, once.” James tried for nonchalant, but his voice betrayed him, wavering at the end.
“Good, so at least it’s not all foreign.”
James chuckled. “I’m no stranger to sex,” he said. “It’s a little different, but I think I can figure it out.”
“I had no doubts, but still needed to ask.” Greg stood up then, patting James’s back. “Anyway, you’re working with one of our best boys. “Could get a response out of the fucking pope if he needed to.”
“I’m a lot easier than the pope.” James snorted. A few months ago though, he would have doubted being able to get it up for a guy, let alone get it up for a guy while a few other ones watched and filmed.
“Good. Now just relax, Bradley will be here soon.”
“Bradley?” Relaxing was the last thing James could do then. How many fucking Bradleys could there be in that company. Before James got a chance to even ask, his question was answered. James stumbled through the room, holding up a key and frowning. James’s gut twisted and his heart tightened, but before he could fight it or have a moment to back out, Bradley smiled and James just couldn’t breathe, let alone leave. He was so fucked.
“What the Hell happened to you?” James asked, forgetting completely that for his début as a legit porn star he was having sex with his brother’s ex boyfriend, all because Bradley looked like a fucking mess. His clothes were soaking wet, thin shirt clinging to his torso and hair hanging limp in his face. His cheeks were flushed, bright red along with his nose, lips glistening and eyes too blue.
He looked over at James, surprise clear on his face. “What?” He glanced over at Greg then the cameramen, then finally landed his gaze on James. “You’ve got to be fucking kidding me.”
Out of all of them, Greg seemed the most confused. “You two know each other?”
James shrugged and Bradley frowned.
“Any problems I should be aware of?” And both boys shook their heads. “Good!” Greg clapped both hands together. “Bradley, don’t move. James, come here.”
James stood up reluctantly and headed over to Greg. He didn’t like the glint he saw in his eyes. “Yeah?”
“Bradley looks really fuckable all wet like that doesn’t he?” James just shrugged causing Greg to roll his eyes. “Yes, he does. Now I want to start the scene with you going up to him. He’s your lover, he just came home soaking wet and you two are going to have some hot rainy day sex.”
James frowned, face scrunching up. “Okay—“ he licked his lips. “So I just, now?”
Greg laughed. “Yes, preferably before he dries. Help him get out of those wet clothes, big boy.” Greg turned him around and gave him a shove towards Bradley. “Okay, we’re rolling!”

Characters

For as long as Kevin can remember, it’s been just him and his sister. Their parents passed away when he was just six and they were shipped from one foster home to another until they were adopted by the Summers. The Summers provide them with everything they can ever want, but not things they need. While they aren’t neglectful, they view having children the same way some people view having a summer house. They are convenient for holidays and parties, but not for everyday life. As soon as they were old enough, Kevin and his sister have attended William McKinley boarding school. They started off in the elementary campus and have now worked their way up to the high school. No one knows McKinley better than Kevin and his sister Daphne.

Kevin isn’t a trouble maker, but he will do all it takes to get away with doing the least. In other words, he’s a class A slacker. He only attends class when it’s a must; his grades will never go above a c and will never drop below a c; he has never been interested in sports or arts, but as long as his parents keep paying, he will continue attending McKinley. Kevin isn’t an underachiever, he’s just a dreamer. He thinks that there are aliens amongst them and that the twinkling lights he sometimes sees in the forest behind the boys’ dorm building are actually fairies and not fireflies. He knows that there is more to life than what everyone sees on the surface, even if everyone else says he’s just a little crazy.

Harmony wants it all. She knows that her life began as less than ideal but she doesn’t want to be a victim. She’s going to work with what she was given, a rich family and unlimited talent. She has big dreams an agenda book that is carefully constructed to make sure she fulfills every single one of those dreams. She has no doubt that one day she will wake up and all her dreams will have come true. Her parents will be proud of her, parading her around in front of their friends and her school mates will regret the day the ever underestimated Harmony Gold.

Erik isn’t like the rest of the kids at this school. He’s not even sure what he’s doing here. One day he’s winning the championship football game in Vernal Utah, and the next he’s being shipped to Ohio to play football for some fancy high school. He misses his stress free life on the farm and his family. Everyone here is too high strung, worrying too much about things that don’t even matter in the long run. He’s never been much good at school or anything other than football, but now they want him taking Latin and playing chess in his free time. He might be crazy, but to him the sweet smell of grass in the morning is a million times nicer than that fancy shit the girls wear here, and it doesn’t cost a hundred dollars a bottle.

Living in Jesse St. James’s shadow is not easy. His huge head alone covers at least half of Ohio. Charlie is tired of trying to outshine his older, more talented brother. Now he’s just grateful for that little light that allows him to find small corners which his brother’s shadow doesn’t completely encompass. There are a few people out there who don’t immediately love or hate him the moment they find out he’s a St. James. Some of them have never even heard the name before. Those are Charlie’s favorite types of people. Those people are rare, so Charlie spends a lot of time alone with a sketch book, coal, and his choice of designer drug or expensive alcohol. He’s not a drug addict, or an alcoholic. No, he’s an artist with his vices and talents.

One way to describe Eddy would be bully. A better way to describe him would be asshole. While a lot of the school fears him, they are still extremely attracted to him. There is something about him that makes people want to be his friend. His ill temper, almost manic behavior and knack for destroying lives just for fun, have not made Eddy any less popular. If anything, he’s more popular than ever. No one is safe from his flights of fancy. He’ll wreck the lives of teachers, students, enemies or friends. The best thing to do is to keep your distance.

He is an aspiring filmmaker. Both his mother and father are artists and he was raised to believe that the only reason people exist is to create. He wants to leave a legacy behind him before he dies and he is convinced that he will achieve this through film. He documents everything that happens, and is seldom seen without his camera and a notebook. Though he is not disliked by his classmates, he is far from popular. People see him as being too driven and self absorbed, even a little boring since all he ever seems to talk about is his projects.

As a child, he was quiet and hated disruptions. Even now he gives off the air of being extremely serious, sometimes even aloof. He believes that the main focus of school is academics and hates the waste of time extracurricular activities present. He hates nothing more than rule breakers and so called rebels. He loves tradition and anything that his parents have said is correct. He’s a good son, a good student, and will one day be a good man. He is quiet, awkward, and some may even describe him as being unfeeling. He is too tightly wound for his age and his fellow students are curious to see him break.

So this happened. Don’t know if it’s canon or not.

The first time it happened was meant to be the only and last time it ever would. It was just a couple of weeks after Seth’s death, but on the outside, Jeremy had started looking normal again. He even smiled sometimes, but James wasn’t buying it. He saw the cracks in Jeremy’s foundation; saw the hurt hiding behind his blue eyes. Jeremy was pretending, for whose benefit, James wasn’t sure. They hadn’t been sharing a room then, so when James’s door opened late that night, it caught him by surprise. He didn’t expect Jeremy to walk in or to stand above his bed, just hovering above him. At first, still half asleep, James had thought it was a dream, but the more he woke up, the more he realized that Jeremy really was there.

He sat up in his bed, covers pooling around his waist, and made room for Jeremy to sit down. Jeremy didn’t move though. He just stood there static, staring blankly at James’s bed, looking anywhere, but at James. He was in just his boxers, body pail and thin in the moonlight. He was thinner than James ever remembered him being, the outline of his ribs and hips visible.

James reached forward, touching his hand, and Jeremy flinched, snatching his hand back as though it was burned. James didn’t give up there though, he grabbed Jeremy’s hand again, and that time he let him. Without saying anything, James pulled him down onto the bed next to him.

Jeremy settled down, his head resting on James’s chest. His breathing softened and his arms wrapped around James. He held him tight, like he was afraid that James would leave. James pulled him closer, cradling his head and running his fingers through soft golden hair.

They laid there quietly, neither of them having the energy to say anything. Not that James knew what he was supposed to say. Jeremy’s body shook, and James knew that he was crying again. Not knowing what to do, he pulled him closer, making soft shushing noises and kissing the top of his head. Soon, Jeremy calmed down and his breathing evened out. James would have though he were sleeping, had his eyes not been wide open. He looked shocked and scared, like he was staring at some horrifying picture before him.

“Jerms—“ James had started to say but stopped when Jeremy turned those horrified eyes on him. He gulped, swallowing down his words, meeting Jeremy’s eyes.

Jeremy just kept staring at him though, his breathing slow. He craned his neck up, bringing their faces close. They were too close for brothers; James could feel Jeremy’s breath against his lips. He knew what was about to happen, but when Jeremy pressed their lips together; James didn’t stop him or pull back. He sat there, allowing Jeremy to kiss him, allowing him to coax him into kissing back. James’s fingers gripped Jeremy’s hair, bringing their faces closer. Jeremy’s body shuddered against his, his hands grabbing onto James’s shoulders. There was a burn in James’s chest and guilt already bubbled deep in his stomach, but he couldn’t stop, couldn’t push Jeremy way, could even deny Jeremy something he wanted.

When they finally broke apart, Jeremy looked even more scared than he’d had before. His body was shaking. His eyes watered and they darted from the door to James, rapidly. James didn’t want him to run. He didn’t want him to be alone that night, so he held him tighter. There was no escaping for either of them. He pressed his forehead against his, resisting the urge to kiss him again. “Do you want to stay here tonight?”

Jeremy just nodded, head shaking so fast, and his eyes still looking so scared. James hated seeing him like that. He pulled them both under the covers and tucked Jeremy’s head under his chin. He smoothed his hand down his brother’s chest and grabbed his hand, tangling their fingers together.

It was supposed to only happen once, but it happened again and again until it became a nightly ritual. Jeremy would crawl into his bed and they’d fall asleep together. Jeremy never kissed him again, but James never figured out if he should be grateful or disappointed.
